Airlift’s programming and engagement highlights New Orleans art and artists, and the unique ways they express themselves, by bringing the dynamic street culture, living traditions and ever-evolving contemporary practices of New Orleans into direct contact with creative communities from around the world (and around the corner) for new art construction, workshops, performances, and collaborative projects.

We believe that collaboration between artists across communities increases resources, empowers empathy and unites physically and philosophically distant groups in shared and powerful exploration.
